In an era of shifting economic drivers, changing regulations, and tight municipal budgets, public sector HR leaders are challenged to rethink traditional compensation strategies. Join TrueComp for an interactive session on how local governments can move from reactive compensation planning to proactive, data-driven strategy. We will explore market trends, practical ways to leverage analytics and modern tooling, and actionable methods to keep your agency competitive in recruitment and retention without breaking the budget.

Speaker:
Steve Heister
is the Chief Product Officer at TrueComp, where he leads product strategy and engineering for a suite of solutions purpose-built for public sector compensation and workforce management, including TrueComp Intelligence, Labor Costing, and Actuarial Solutions. Steve brings more than 20 years of product leadership experience, including significant work in HR technology at SkillSurvey and iCIMS. He holds a degree from the University of Pennsylvania and is known for a direct, candid approach shaped by close, ongoing work with the agencies TrueComp serves.

Agencies today are in constant competition to attract new talent and retain great employees, all while balancing that need against fiscal accountability to the public they serve. Steve's focus has been building tools that make that balancing act easier for HR and compensation leaders, helping them benchmark pay accurately, close equity gaps, and make the case for compensation decisions with confidence.
